UmBau - A Journal for the Theory of Practice
Since 1979, the journal UmBau has stood for critical discussion on architecture and theory in Austria. At the start of the century, a new UmBau is introduced by the Austrian Society for Architecture and the Department of Architectural Theory at the Technical University of Vienna with the Verlag Anton Pustet as our new publisher.
The new UmBau features a section with both invited and peer-reviewed academic papers on a select theme in architectural theory and practice. Each issue will be edited by an international referee board of distinguished authorities on the topic.
